Googles got something Flickr doesn’t: Picasa, the photo management software. And now they’re introducing Picasa Web Albums. They’ve sold me and I don’t even have my account yet. If you actually haven’t seen this yet, take a look at one of their example albums for Maui. The one hang-up I see is that presently you can’t display images hosted on Google’s servers on any other site. Maybe this is only a restriction during the ‘Test’ phase?
